KTM 990 Adventure
2023: New (for us) is a 2006 KTM 990 Adventure: 27,000 miles with the following extras: Akrapovic exhausts, Rottweiler intake system, fog lights, panniers, top box, pannier liners, tinted screen, heated grips, sat nav, engine bars, tubeless tire conversion.
In Preparation for the Romania trip I installed bar risers, Seat Concepts comfort seat, new USB socket, headlight grill and a new battery. A service was required which included new rubber, chain and sprockets and air filter.
None of this is shown in the below pictures as these were taken by the previous owner.
2025: Decided to sell the KTM as I'm using the Aprilia Tuareg for all my adventure riding and there's no real need to have two adventure bikes. She's now on 35,572 miles. A new MOT and service was done in April (no advisories), new front brake discs, brake pads all round and a new exhaust link pipe were installed.
Condition: the lid of the right pannier departed ways with the bike on the way to Romania and got dented and scratched, but still fits on the case without issue. The lid of the top box has a water mark on it, caused by a heavy, wet bike cover in hot conditions. The left indictor was also damaged by the same bike cover and replaced with new once returned. There is some paint peeling off around some of the fasteners at the front of the fairing.
